Fenton Free 5K
The Fenton Free 5K is a community sports event located in Binghamton, New York, with the main assembly point at 1062 Chenango Street. This event brings together participants for a morning of physical activity to support a local cause, as all proceeds benefit library programming for the Fenton Free Library.
The event features two distinct distances:
- 5 km Run or Walk
- Kids-Dash
The 5 km event is open to both runners and walkers. Participants can access registration forms and course maps directly at the library or through the official event website. For those interested in early rewards, t-shirts are provided to the first 25 runners who register for the 5 km by May 1st.
The Kids-Dash is a free event specifically for children. To participate in this distance, guardians must register the child by calling or visiting the library. Children who are registered by May 12th receive a free t-shirt. Registration for the 5 km distance carries a fixed fee with an increase for those choosing to register on the day of the race.
