The Jingle Bell 5k is a 3.1 mile run/walk through the streets of downtown Montrose, Pennsylvania, held as part of the Christmas in Montrose festivities. The course passes through areas with seasonal decorations and music; Christmas trees and carols are noted features of the event atmosphere.
Registration is open with a fee structure that varies by timing: a pre-registration option includes a participants shirt if registered by November 1, 2026; later pre-registration does not include a shirt; race day registration is cash only and does not include a shirt. Shirt orders close on November 1, 2026 and the requested shirt size at registration is the size provided at packet pickup. No extra shirts will be available after the shirt order deadline.
This event allows strollers and leashed dogs; anyone older than two years participating as a runner or walker must be registered. No virtual option is available. No refunds or registration transfers are permitted.
Awards are presented to the first male and first female finishers in multiple age categories, and winners must be present to accept awards.
