Cupid's Chase 5K Binghamton
Cupid's Chase is a local stop in a national race series that celebrates the founding of Community Options. The event at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton is the 19th annual edition and supports fundraising for housing and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Last year more than 17,000 runners participated across the country.
The event features a certified 5K with professional timing and immediate posting of results. Registration for the 5K opens on June 9, 2026 and closes on November 30, 2026; the registration fee is $40.00. To guarantee a Cupid's Chase shirt registrants are advised to register by January 1, 2027; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. Giveaways include a finisher medal and drawstring bag while supplies last.
The event is fully accessible and pet friendly with the requirement that all pets remain leashed at all times. Participation options listed for the series include runners, walkers, families with strollers, and wheelchair participants. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers in each of the following 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & over.
