Fence Stile Vineyards Wine Run/Walk 5k
The Fence Stile Vineyards Wine Run/Walk 5k takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Fence Stile Vineyards & Winery in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. The event uses a two loop course around the winery that passes trees, a wooded area, a pond, and rows of grapevines. The course is cross country style and includes sections of grass and uneven ground.
The 5k is chip timed and scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online. Registration includes a T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Registered participants also receive a pour of wine; minors may participate but will not receive a wine glass or a pour as part of their registration. The event is open to a wide age range, listed as ages 1 to 99.
Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each category. The listed age categories are: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. Packet pickup is race day only and begins one hour before each participant’s selected start time. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate for free and do not need separate registration.
