RUN Liberty
RUN Liberty is an annual running event held in Liberty, Missouri. The event marks its 10th anniversary in 2026 and features a variety of distances for participants to choose from. The racecourses are designed to be scenic, with both the start and finish lines located at William Jewell College. The routes guide runners and walkers through the downtown Liberty area.
Participants can select from several race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K (New for the 20th anniversary)
- 5K
- Kid's Run (Open to ages 3-10)
The event uses Big River Race Management for chip timing. All runners receive personalized bibs and access to free race photos. Finishers are presented with a large medal upon completion of their race. Participants in the half marathon receive a uni-sex tri-blend long sleeve shirt, while those competing in the 10K or 5K receive a uni-sex tri-blend short sleeve shirt.
Entry fees from the event go toward supporting health, education, and wellness initiatives through the Liberty Hospital Foundation. The event includes local community involvement, with 3Halves Craft beer available for participants and support from various local sponsors.
