Feel the Burn 5K & 10K

Feel the Burn 5K & 10K takes place on October 10, 2026, at 501 Dr. Donnie Jones Blvd, Princeton, NC 27569. The event is organized by the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department as a fundraiser and is run by a 100% volunteer crew.

Registration opens April 21, 2026, and closes September 30, 2026. Entry fees through September 30 are $25 for the 5K and $30 for the 10K. From October 1 the entry fees are $30 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. A race shirt is included and guaranteed for registrations through September 30; there is no shirt guarantee after that date.

Awards are presented to 1st and 2nd place finishers, male and female, in the following age groups: under 14, 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-59, 60. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
