Cures for the Colors Glow Run
The Cures for the Colors Glow Run takes place on November 7, 2026, at 3000 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534. The event raises funds to help people battling cancer in Eastern North Carolina.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K timed and untimed options
- 1 mile fun run, untimed
- Virtual 5K run or walk
Registration fees and deadlines are specified by event: the in person 5K is $30 through October 2, increasing to $35 beginning October 3; the 1 mile fun run is $20 through October 2, increasing to $25 beginning October 3; the virtual 5K is $25 through race day. To guarantee an event t shirt, registration must be completed by October 2, 2026.
Awards will be given to the top three female finishers, the top three male finishers, and the top three finishers under 18; an awards ceremony follows completion of the races.
Virtual participants may run or walk anywhere on November 7, 2026, including on a treadmill. The virtual 5K is not officially timed, but a GPS based time can be recorded and submitted via the RaceJoy app and an online leaderboard will display times. Virtual participants receive a certificate and an event t shirt.
