21st Annual FEAT 5K Walk/Run for Autism
The FEAT 5K Walk/Run for Autism is a community event held at Beckley Creek Parkway in Louisville, Kentucky. Established over 20 years ago, this annual gathering serves to raise awareness and funds for individuals and families living with autism. The event accommodates both in-person participants and virtual participants, and it takes place regardless of weather conditions.
The following distances are available for participants:
- 5K run
- 1-mile walk
The event is organized by FEAT of Louisville, a nonprofit organization founded in 1999 that provides family-centered support, education, and various resources. Financial proceeds from the registrations are used to support specific community programs, such as the Endeavor Preschool Program, the Bluegrass Center for Autism Vocational Program, the Get Your FEAT Wet Swim Program, and the Dreams in Motion Summer Camp.
Participants are responsible for uploading their own finish times for the 5K through the registration platform, a system designed to provide flexibility for the local and virtual running community. Participation is open to individuals and teams. Registrations are final, and the organization maintains a no-refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
