Hometown Half Marathon - Louisville
The Hometown Half Marathon - Louisville is a community-focused running event held in Kentucky that offers a variety of distances for different interests. The event features multiple race formats on a single day, including:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (for ages 10 and under)
The Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k races utilize chip-timing, providing participants with live results and eligibility for awards. The Half Marathon also includes pacers to assist runners with their tempo. The 1 Mile and Kid's Dash are untimed events. All registered participants receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. For the Kid's Dash, children may participate for free if they do not wish to receive the shirt or medal.
Participants have access to free event photos and can find food at the finish line. Reduced pricing is available for participants aged 12 and under in the 5k and 10k categories. A virtual option is also provided, allowing individuals to complete their chosen distance at any location and receive their participation items by mail.
