Event Overview
The Louisville H.E.R.O. (Honor Earned, Remembrance Owed) Run/Walk/Ruck is a 5th annual event scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026. The event honors those who died in battle and those lost to the psychological wounds of war.
Location and Course
The event takes place at the University of Louisville Cardinal Track Stadium, located at 2125 South Floyd Street. The route starts at the track and field stadium, goes around the University of Louisville campus, and finishes on the track.

Early bird pricing is available until December 31, 2025: $20 for military personnel/veterans and $25 for civilians. From January 1, 2026, prices are $25 for military/veterans and $30 for civilians. The kids' fun run is free.
Charitable Purpose and Details
Proceeds from the event benefit Volunteers of America Mid-States and the University of Louisville's Salute to Service Scholarship Fund. All 5K and 10K finishers receive a custom medal. Additional awards are given to top civilian and veteran male and female finishers for both the 5K and 10K distances.
Packet pickup is available on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Mission BBQ (4607 Shelbyville Road) and on race day at the Cardinal Track Stadium. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
