Richard Newcomb Memorial Father's Day Race
The Richard Newcomb Memorial Father's Day Race is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Audubon Park in New Orleans, LA. The event is organized by the New Orleans Track Club and presented by Louisiana Running and Walking Company. Proceeds support the New Orleans Track Club Scholarship Fund, and Special Olympics Louisiana is listed as an official charity partner.
Event details
The course follows the Audubon Park running and walking path under the oak trees. Distances offered:
- 2 miles - 2-Mile Run, Price: $25
- 2 miles - 2-Mile Run (NOTC Family Memberships), Price: $50
- 1/2 mile - Kids Run, Price: $15
Participants can register as father and grandfather teams; team members are confirmed at the Team Sign Up table on race morning. Race day registration and packet pickup will be located underneath Shelter #10 next to the Newman Bandshell; race-day registrants are not guaranteed a commemorative race shirt. New Orleans Track Club members receive a $5 discount and membership discounts can be applied during registration. Sponsors and partners are listed on the event page.
