Event overview
The Richard Newcomb Memorial Father's Day Race is scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, in Audubon Park, New Orleans, LA 70118. The course follows the Audubon Park running and walking path and passes through oak trees. The New Orleans Track Club organizes the event and designates the New Orleans Track Club Scholarship Fund as an official partner beneficiary. The event presentation lists Louisiana Running and Walking Company as presenter and several local organizations as sponsors.

Events offered include:
- 2 miles : Price: $25.
- 2 miles (NOTC family membership entry) : Price: $50; NOTC members only.
- 1/2 mile (kids) : Price: $20.
NOTC members receive a $5 discount where applicable. Registration opens on March 2, 2026. Father and grandfather teams are available as a race group, with team confirmation handled on race morning at a team sign-up table. Race day registration and packet pickup will be available at Shelter #10 next to the Newman Bandshell; commemorative shirts for day-of registrants are not guaranteed and are distributed first-come, first-served.
