Event Overview
The Father's Day 5K - Lockport is a 5K run/walk scheduled for Father's Day. The event is organized to raise funds for Camp Happiness. The race starts and finishes at Day Road Park in Lockport, New York.
Course Details
The proposed route goes through local neighborhoods before returning to Day Road Park. There is one water stop located near the midpoint at Ross Rental, and bottled water is provided at the finish line.
Registration and Entry
Online registration remains open until the race starts. Packet pickup and race-day registration occur at Santa's Christmas Cottage inside Day Road Park from 8:00 AM until the 9:00 AM start.
- 5K Run/Walk: $30 until May 31, then $35 until race day. Participants who register by June 5 at 9:00 AM are guaranteed an official event t-shirt in their requested size.
Post-Race and Amenities
Light snacks, such as fruit, yogurt, and granola bars, and bottled water are available at the finish line. There will be music and a post-race awards ceremony. Plenty of free parking is available at Day Road Park.
Awards
Trophies are awarded to the first-place overall male and female 5K runners. Age group gifts are presented to the top three male and female runners in categories from 14 and under to 70 and older.
Timing and Results
Professional electronic RFID timing is provided. Results are updated in real time and can be accessed via a mobile app, results kiosk, or website. Free finish line photos and downloadable finisher certificates are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
