Father's Day 5K - Lockport
The Father's Day 5K - Lockport is an annual community event held in the Town of Lockport. The course begins and ends at Day Road Park, leading participants through surrounding local neighborhoods before returning to the park interior. A water station is located near the midpoint of the route to assist runners and walkers. Professional timing services are utilized for the event, featuring electronic RFID technology to provide real-time results. Participants can access their finish times through several digital platforms or via a results kiosk at the site.
The event includes an awards ceremony following the conclusion of the activity. Trophies are awarded to the first-place overall male and female finishers. Distribution of age group gifts is also conducted for the top three male and female finishers in categories ranging from 14 and under to 70 and older.
