Just One Before I Die 5K & 10K
Just One Before I Die is a running event held in the historic district of Lewiston, New York. The race starts and finishes at the Brickyard Pub & Restaurant on Center Street. The event features two primary distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The 5 km course is a scenic route that takes participants through the historic district and Artpark State Park. The 10 km distance follows the same path but includes an additional out and back section on the NYS Parks Bike Path, extending up Lewiston hill to a turnaround point near the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge.
A post-race celebration is held at the Brickyard Brewing Company, featuring food, music, and prize giveaways. Participants can view real-time results and download custom finisher certificates and finish line photos at no charge. The event uses Jaguar Electronic RFID timing for accuracy.
Awards are presented to the first place overall male and female finishers in each race. Additionally, custom pint glasses are awarded to the top three male and female runners in several age categories, ranging from 19 and under to 70 and older. Participants registered by a specific cut-off date receive an official event headband.
