Just Once Before I Die 5K & 10K
The event offers two road race distances in Lewiston, New York, organized around the Brickyard Brewing Company at 432 Center Street. Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
The 5K course runs through Lewiston's historic district and Artpark State Park. The 10K follows the 5K route with an additional out-and-back section on the New York State Parks Bike Path up Lewiston hill to a turnaround point just past the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge before returning to the shared finish.
Online registration is available through race day. Packet pickup occurs at the Brickyard Brewing Company on race day. Participants who register by December 15, 2026 are guaranteed an official event headband. Registration fees are listed as $35 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K through race day.
Post-race activities at the Brickyard include food, music, an awards ceremony, and beer specials for participants age 21 and older while supplies last. There is free parking in the Village of Lewiston near the start and finish area.
Handcrafted trophies are awarded to first place overall male and female finishers in each race. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and older. Timing uses Jaguar Electronic RFID timing with real time results and downloadable finisher certificates. The event has a no refund policy and may be postponed, rescheduled, or offered virtually if organizers deem it necessary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
