Fast and Furriest 5k Year 12
The Fast and Furriest 5k Year 12 takes place on May 16, 2026 in Springfield, Missouri. The event is Rescue One’s 12th annual Fast and the Furriest and is based at 1409 E Cherry Street in the field next to Sleepy Opossum Cafe, following the same route as the previous year through the Rountree neighborhood.

- Virtual race
Well socialized, leashed dogs are encouraged; retractable leashes are not permitted. The event welcomes animal lovers and participants of various ages and experience levels. It is planned to run rain or shine unless severe weather creates unsafe conditions, in which case organizers may consider rescheduling later in the year.
