Farmdale Trail Run
The Farmdale Trail Run is scheduled for October 10-11, 2026 in the Farmdale area near East Peoria, Illinois. The event is the twenty first edition of the Farmdale Endurance Trail Runs and takes place on approximately 800 acres maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers and volunteer organizations. The terrain includes single-track trails, service roads, and open prairie.
Race distances offered:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 30 Miler
- 1/2 Marathon
- 10K
Participants receive a shirt and finisher medal. Finishers of the 50 Miler and 100 Miler also receive buckles and additional swag to be announced. The 100 Miler field may drop down to the 50 Miler at the Mile 50 checkpoint; awards for 50 mile completion require stopping at that location. Quitting later in the 100 mile course without stopping at Mile 50 will be recorded as a DNF for award purposes.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 9 at Farmdale Reservoir, 810 W Bittersweet Rd, Washington, IL. Aid stations will offer a variety of food; runners with strict dietary needs are advised to bring their own items, which staff can heat if needed. Pacers are allowed after completing the first loop. Crew access is limited to the Start/Finish aid station. Camping is available beginning Friday with removal by Sunday afternoon. No refunds, transfers, or exchanges are permitted.
