Farmdale Trail Run : October 10-11, 2026
The Farmdale Trail Run is the twenty-first edition of a multi-distance trail event held at Farmdale, an 800-acre area near East Peoria, Washington and Morton, Illinois. The venue includes single-track trail, service road and open prairie around Farmdale Reservoir, maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers and volunteers.
Race distances offered:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 30 Miler
- 1/2 Marathon
- 10K
The 10K and half marathon have a nine hour time limit. The 50 and 100 mile races use a 32 hour cutoff. The 100 mile field may drop to the 50 mile at mile 50; competitors who drop at mile 50 will be presented an award for 50 miles and will not be refunded the difference in race cost. Quitting after mile 50 at intermediate distances such as mile 60, 70, 80 or 90 is recorded as a DNF and does not receive awards.
Participants receive a shirt and finisher medal; 50 and 100 mile finishers receive buckles and additional swag to be announced. Packet pickup is at Farmdale Reservoir, 810 W Bittersweet Rd, Washington, IL on Friday October 9 from 4pm to 9pm. Camping is available beginning Friday at 3pm and campsites must be packed out by 1pm Sunday. Porta potties are on site at the start/finish area.
Aid stations offer a variety of food; participants with strict dietary needs are advised to bring their own items for crew or aid station staff to prepare. Pacers are allowed after completion of a first loop. Crew access is limited to the start/finish aid station. There are no refunds, transfers or exchanges.
