Farmdale Trail Run
The Farmdale Trail Run is scheduled for October 10-11, 2026 at Farmdale Reservoir near East Peoria, Illinois. This is the Twenty-First edition of the Farmdale Endurance Trail Runs and it offers multiple race distances on an 800 acre property maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and volunteer organizations.
Available distances include:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 30 Miler
- 1/2 Marathon
- 10K
The course uses miles of single-track trail, service road and open prairie. Aid stations will offer a variety of food; participants with strict dietary needs are advised to bring their own items, which race staff can heat or prepare if needed. Pacers are allowed after completion of the first loop. Crew access is restricted to the Start/Finish aid station.
Time limits and race cutoffs are specified for certain distances: the 10K and half marathon have a nine hour time limit, and the 50 and 100 mile races have a 32 hour cutoff. The 100 Miler may be converted to a 50 Miler at the 50 mile mark; runners who drop to 50 must stop at mile 50 to receive an award and no cost adjustments will be made. No refunds, transfers, or exchanges are permitted.
Packet pickup is at Farmdale Reservoir, 810 W Bittersweet Rd, Washington, IL, on Friday October 9. Camping and limited trailer or camper space are available with prior permission from the race directors. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
