Farmdale Trail Run
The Twenty-First Farmdale Endurance Trail Runs take place October 10 to 11, 2026 at Farmdale Reservoir near East Peoria, Illinois. The event is held on an 800 acre area maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers and volunteer organizations, with single-track trail, service road and open prairie terrain.
Distances offered include:
- 100 mile
- 50 mile
- 30 mile
- Half marathon
- 10K
Participants receive a shirt and finisher medal. Finishers of the 50 mile and 100 mile events receive buckles and additional swag to be announced. Aid stations will offer a variety of food; participants with strict dietary needs are encouraged to bring personal food, which staff can heat or prepare on request. Pacers are allowed after completion of the first loop. Crew access is limited to the Start/Finish aid station.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Farmdale Reservoir, 810 W Bittersweet Rd, Washington, IL, on Friday October 9 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Camping is available beginning Friday October 9 at 3:00 PM; campers must pack out by 1:00 PM on Sunday October 11. Porta potties will be on site. Trailer and camper space is limited and requires advance permission from the race directors. There are no refunds, transfers, or exchanges. Registration closes September 10 at 11:59 PM CT.
