Event Details
The Farm Fresh 5K is the fourth edition of this event. It is held on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The start and finish location is the Haywood Christian Ministries headquarters at 5095 Old River Road in Bethel, Waynesville, North Carolina.
Course and Logistics
The course details are to be announced. There will be one water station approximately halfway through the race. Volunteers and police will be stationed at key intersections and turns, which will also be marked with signs. The event uses chip timing attached to race bibs. Parking is available on the Haywood Christian Ministries grounds.
Registration and Fees
Registration is available in two categories: 5K-Adult and 5K-Youth. On-site registration and packet pickup are available on the morning of the event until 15 minutes before the start.
Participant Perks and Awards
All registered runners receive a custom race shirt and an additional farm-themed item. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, from 14 & Under to 70 & Over. Water and light snacks are provided after the race.
Beneficiary
All proceeds from the event go to Haywood Christian Ministries. The funds support their work to address hunger and poverty in Haywood and surrounding counties through food access, small farm support, and economic stability programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
