Event Details

The Pisgah 5k Run takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Pisgah Elementary School in Candler, North Carolina. The event supports a local education initiative to fund a part-time teaching assistant for a second-grade class at Pisgah Elementary School.

Race Information

The event features a single 5k distance. The standard entry fee is $25, with the price increasing after January 31, 2026. A custom race t-shirt is included with entry for participants who register before April 18, 2026, though shirts are only guaranteed while supplies last.

Awards

The top three overall male and female finishers receive a custom race medal and a cash prize: $100 for first place, $50 for second, and $25 for third. Age group awards are also presented. The top three finishers in each age category receive a custom race medal; overall winners are excluded from age group awards. Age groups range from 1-4 to 75+.

Schedule & Location

Packet pickup and onsite registration are available on Friday, May 1, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on race day, Saturday, May 2, from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM, both at Pisgah Elementary School.
