Details and purpose
The event raises funds to hire a part-time teaching assistant for a 2nd grade class at Pisgah Elementary School to support small group reading instruction. A custom race t-shirt is included with entry for registrations made before April 19, 2025; shirts are guaranteed only while quantities last. Awards
Overall top three male and female finishers receive a custom race medal and a cash award: $100 for 1st, $50 for 2nd, and $25 for 3rd. Age group awards are custom race medals for the top three finishers in each listed age group.
