Run for Life at Lake Junaluska
The Carolina Adventists Run for Life is an annual athletic event held in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. Hosted by the Carolina Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, the event takes place during the week of the Camp Meeting. Participants gather on a Friday morning to take part in distance running activities situated within the scenic environment of the Lake Junaluska Assembly.
The event offers two distinct distances for participants:
- 5 km
- 1 mile
The start and finish lines for both distances are located near the open-air gym on Weldon Way. The 5 km course is designed to circle the perimeter of the lake. For those participating in the 1 mile run, the route follows North Lakeshore Drive and features a turnaround point located along the Rose Walk.
