The Farm 5K Benefit Run/Walk is a 5-kilometer off-road event held at the Wardensville Garden Market farm in Wardensville, West Virginia (28813 SR55, 26851). The event is a fundraiser that supports local volunteer fire and rescue squads and the Youth Giving Committee; in 2023 it raised $21,125. Course and amenities
The course runs on trails across a 100+ acre organic farm beside the Cacapon River. Participants may bring dogs on leash; dogs are required to stay on the path and must be leashed to avoid contact with farm animals and wildlife. Food and beverages are provided after the race.
Prizes, divisions and registration
Awards include 1st place overall male and female and age-division awards, with a total of 22 prizes across divisions. Age divisions are: 5 and under; 6-9; 10-13; 14-18; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-74; and 75+. The listed registration fee is $45 and registration opens May 10, 2026.
