Seven Bends Adventure Race Weekend : Woodstock, Virginia
Seven Bends Adventure Race Weekend takes place along the North Fork of the Shenandoah River with the Blue Ridge Mountains visible in the background. The event spans two days on July 11 to 12, 2026, and combines multi-discipline navigation and river sections with trails and gravel riding.
Saturday hosts a 7 Hour adventure race with multiple disciplines: mountain bike, trek, and paddle. A trek-only option is available. The course includes flowing singletrack, scenic gravel riding, river sections, navigation checkpoints, and site-specific challenges. Boats are provided by the race organization for the adventure race. The event awards USARA and Virginia State Parks Adventure Series points.
Sunday features the 7 Mile Aqua Blaze, a combined paddle and run format that pairs roughly five miles of running with about two miles of paddling. For the Aqua Blaze, boats are provided or participants may bring their own watercraft.
Nearby camping is offered for participants who wish to stay close to the course. A post-race awards ceremony is held at Muse Vineyards, located minutes from the finish area.
