Event Overview
The Seven Bends Adventure Race takes place at Seven Bends State Park in Woodstock, Virginia. The event is part of the Virginia State Park Series and the USARA Race Series.
Event Format
The primary event is a 7-hour adventure race with multiple participation categories:
- 7 Hour Solo
- 7 Hour, 2 Person Team
- 7 Hour, 3 Person Team
- 7 Hour, 4 Person Team
The race disciplines include mountain biking, trekking, and paddling. A trek-only option is also available. Boats are provided by the race organization, though participants have the option to bring their own watercraft.
Course & Location
The course is set along the banks of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River and involves water. The awards ceremony with post-race wine is held at Muse Vineyards, located within minutes of the finish line.
