About the race
The Family Promise of Ogden Fun Run and Walk takes place on 09/26/2026 at Harrisville Park Bowery, 1350 N Hwy 89, Ogden, UT 84404. Races and activities begin and end near the Park Bowery.
The event includes a timed 5K where finishers are timed and medals are awarded to top runners. A not timed one mile walk follows a scenic route and returns to the park. Children under 12 may run or ride on the same one mile course; parents may accompany their children. Bicycles and scooters must be non-motorized, and cyclists are not part of the children's medal competition; the first three children to finish the kids' race earn medals. Children's movie characters will appear to cheer and hold a meet-and-greet.
Support on course includes friendly volunteers, water stations, and first aid personnel. Finish line activities include cheering volunteers, music, and a silent auction. A family registration option allows up to two parents and six children from the same household to register together.
