Family Promise of Ogden Fun Run and Walk
This community fundraising run and walk takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Harrisville Park Bowery, 1350 N Hwy 89, Ogden, UT 84404. The event supports Family Promise of Ogden, a local nonprofit focused on preventing and ending family homelessness. One hundred percent of event proceeds will go directly to that organization.
Event formats include the following distances and options:
- 5K run
- 1 mile walk
- Kids 1 mile run for children under 12 years
- Family race pass for up to two parents and six children
All routes begin and end at the Harrisville Park Bowery and are described as carefully marked. Volunteers will be positioned along the course. Water stations will be available and first aid personnel will be on site. Walkers are not timed. Adults and children may participate on the appropriate courses; parents are allowed to accompany their children on the kids 1 mile run.
Prizes include medals awarded to the top three runners in multiple age and gender categories for the 5K and for the kids 1 mile. Raffle tickets will be sold during the event and one ticket is provided with registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
