Snowbasin by UTMB
Snowbasin by UTMB is a trail running weekend held at Snowbasin Resort in the Northern Wasatch, with event dates 10–12 September 2026 and a race day on 12 September 2026. The venue sits above Ogden, Utah, with expansive views that extend toward the Great Salt Lake.
The course runs on flowing, runnable trails through sagebrush, aspen groves, evergreen forest, and open mountain terrain. The race options include substantial elevation gain and climbs that reward sustained rhythm and strategy rather than short efforts.

- ~29 km - elevation gain 800 m+
The event weekend connects mountain terrain with nearby Ogden. Historic 25th Street is minutes from the start and offers dining, live music, and local outdoor culture. A central gathering area called Meet at the Moose, inspired by a moose statue, serves as a spectator-friendly hub with lift-accessible terrain for viewing and meeting.
UTMB Cares supports environmental care through grant funding and volunteer efforts. The IRONMAN Foundation reports over $55 million in charitable giveback funding since 2003, including a $50,000 grant for Western States Trail restoration referenced by the organizer.
