Snowbasin by UTMB is held at Snowbasin Resort in the Northern Wasatch near Ogden, UT, with expansive views toward the Great Salt Lake. The venue includes sweeping ridgelines, forested slopes, and varied mountain terrain.
Race routes follow flowing, runnable trails that pass through sagebrush, aspen groves, evergreen forest, and open alpine areas. The courses include sustained climbs and descents that reward steady rhythm and race strategy, with climbs that open to wide panoramas.
Distances offered include:
- 59 km with 1800 m+ elevation gain
- 29 km with 800 m+ elevation gain
A central gathering place called Meet at the Moose is located mid mountain and serves as a spectator friendly hub near lift accessible terrain. The weekend blends mountain trails with nearby Ogden city features such as historic 25th Street, local dining, and live music, connecting the resort setting with a metro atmosphere.
UTMB Community Bibs are available during registration and direct support to local causes. Half of the registration proceeds for those bibs go to a local charity chosen by the race team.
