Terrain Race Salt Lake City 2026 takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Golden Spike Event Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The event is family friendly and welcomes participants of all ages.
The event is an obstacle and mud focused 5K challenge. The course follows a 5K structure (about 3 miles) and includes mud pits, climbs, crawls, walls, ropes, monkey bars, and eleven or more additional obstacles adapted to the venue terrain. Multiple difficulty levels are offered.
Registration is available in Value and VIP packages. The Value package includes a race bib, finisher medal, free race photos, access to all obstacles, and post race festival access and does not include a $14.95 insurance and venue fee. The VIP package includes the Value items plus VIP check in, a 2026 tour t shirt, a Terrain Race headband, drawstring bag, silicone wristband, VIP tattoo, and priority wave start and includes the insurance and venue fee.
A festival village opens before the first wave with packet pickup, warm ups, gear check, vendor booths, and music. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 4, 2026 at the Golden Spike Event Center; packets can be reserved for race day for a $5 cash fee per packet.
