26th annual USATF certified 5K run and 5K walk in Walpole, MA
The event is the 26th consecutive annual USATF certified 5K run and 5K walk, held on November 14, 2026, at the Walpole Italian-American Club, 109 Stone Street, Walpole, MA 02081. Start lines are near the Walpole Public Library, approximately 170 yards from the club. Post-race activities including food, a raffle, and an awards ceremony take place at the club.

Registration information: pre-registration fees are $25 with reduced rates of $20 for participants aged 16 and under and for those 70 and older; on-site registration fee is $30. Registration opens March 30, 2026 and closes November 13, 2026. Number pickup and race shirts are available race-day only; shirts are free for the first 50 entrants.
Awards and recognition include top-3 male and female trophies for the run, age-group top-3 medals across standard age brackets, and additional trophies for club members and special placements such as second-to-last finisher and town-specific first finishers. Weight-class awards recognize top performers in specified weight categories. The kids fun run is 50 yards with ribbons and requires no registration or shirt.
Benefits and logistics: proceeds support the local community food pantry, the Italian-American Club and local music and community groups.
