Families Run for Ovarian Cancer ROC Star Run/Walk
The 20th annual Families Run for Ovarian Cancer ROC Star Run/Walk takes place in Tower Grove Park in Saint Louis, Missouri on October 11, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual options and aims to raise funds and awareness for ovarian cancer through St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness.
Distances offered include:
- 5K chip timed run/walk
- 1 mile untimed run/walk
- Kids 1 mile untimed, for children under age 12 on race day
- 5K ROC from Home virtual option with mailed shirt
Registration prices differ by option; in-person and virtual registrations include a limited edition 20th anniversary shirt while supplies last. ROC from Home shirts will be mailed after the in-person event and a $5 shipping charge is added to those registrations.
The event is family and dog friendly and features a Survivor Ceremony that recognizes attending survivors and a group photo. An Honor and Memory Wall allows participants to attach photos or messages; materials provided may not be returned. Additional on-site elements include flu shots (ages 7+) provided by Walgreens, music by TKO DJs, roaming selfie stations, mascot appearances, and a Bubble Bus.
Food and beverages include morning donuts and bananas, coffee and specialty drinks from a coffee truck, complimentary Kona Ice and hot dogs and chips while supplies last, and beer for attendees age 21 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
