Families Run for Ovarian Cancer ROC Star 5k & 1 Mile Run/Walk
The event takes place on 10/11/2026 at the Sons of Rest Pavilion in Tower Grove Park, Saint Louis, MO. It raises funds for ovarian cancer research and awareness through St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness and was started in 2006 by a family in honor of a loved one who fought ovarian cancer.
Participants may choose from several distance options:
- 5K chip timed run/walk
- 1 mile run/walk not timed
- Kids 1 mile fun run for children under age 12, not timed
- ROC from Home virtual 5K option
Registration opens 05/04/2026 and closes 10/01/2026. Published registration fees are $35 for the 5K, $30 for the 1 mile, $15 for the kids 1 mile, and $30 for the virtual 5K. All registrations include a limited edition 20th anniversary shirt while supplies last. ROC from Home shirts are mailed after the in person event and a $5 shipping charge will be added to those registrations.
The event is family and dog friendly and features a Survivor Ceremony, an Honor and Memory Wall, flu shots for ages 7 and up, music by TKO DJs, roaming selfie stations, character visits, and a Bubble Bus. Morning food and drinks include Krispy Kreme donuts and bananas. Coffee and specialty drinks are available for purchase. After the start, Kona Ice will offer complimentary treats and K's Unique Dogs will provide complimentary hot dogs and chips while supplies last. Beer will be available for guests 21 and older.
