Mid-America Transplant Celebrate Life 5K Run/Walk
The Mid-America Transplant Celebrate Life event is scheduled for October 4, 2026, at the Festival and Parking Plaza (Upper Muny) in Forest Park, St. Louis, MO. The event brings together the transplant community to raise awareness about organ, tissue, and eye donation and to recognize donor families, living donors, recipients, and those waiting for transplants. Mid-America Transplant also serves as a community resource providing education and bereavement support.
Distances offered:
- 5K: 3.1 miles, timed with a bib and timing chip.
- 1 Mile: untimed, no bib or recorded time.
Registration prices shown include mandatory fees. A course map is provided. Packet pickup is at Mid-America Transplant, 1110 Highlands Plaza Drive East, on Friday, October 2 (12:00pm to 6:00pm) and Saturday, October 3 (10:00am to 4:00pm). Race-morning packets will be available at the Upper Muny from 8:00am to 9:00am. One-person team pickup is allowed.
Awards will be given to the top male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
To include a donor photo in the Garden of Heroes or to have a donor or recipient recognized in event displays, upload the photo during registration and complete registration by September 14. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
