FAME Fun 5K Run/Walk
The FAME Fun 5K Run/Walk takes place on June 14, 2026 at Boyce Park Four Seasons Lodge in Plum, Pennsylvania. The event offers in-person and virtual options and supports the Fund for Advancement of Minorities Through Education by funding educational resources and scholarships for FAME Scholars and FAME Academy students.

Chip timing is used for in-person 5K participants; the 1 mile is untimed. Virtual entries include shipping for race items. All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Post race food, drinks and snacks are provided for participants. Age group awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each age bracket, with brackets ranging from 11 and under up through 70 plus.
Race day registration is available at Boyce Park. The organizing body describes FAME's mission as providing access to college preparatory education and need based financial assistance for African American youth in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
