Falling Leaves Road Race in Utica
The Falling Leaves Road Race takes place in downtown Utica at the Utica State Office Building on Genesee Street on September 27, 2026. The event is organized by the Utica Roadrunners and marks more than fifty years of the race.
Distances offered:
- 5K: Traditional 5K starting and ending by the Utica State Office Building.
- 14K: Course includes Parkway, Valley View, park switchbacks, then downhill to Genesee Street.
- Kid's Kilometer: One kilometer up and down Genesee Street for children and families.
Registration and packet information notes that registration fees are $30 in the listed window and increase to $60 on race weekend. Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted. Packet pick up is scheduled at the Sneaker Store on Saturday, September 26 from 10:00 to 16:00, and at the DoubleTree by Hilton Utica on race morning; kid run packets are available only on race morning.
