Fallen Heroes 5 Miler, Fredericksburg VA
The Fallen Heroes 5 Miler is a road running event hosted by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes nonprofit. The course runs through downtown Fredericksburg and begins at James Monroe High School. The event is part of the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series organized with the Fredericksburg Area Running Club.
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at Lucky Road Run Shop, 1865 Carl D. Silver Parkway Unit 110, Fredericksburg VA 22401, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Race-day packets will also be available at the James Monroe High School parking lot for a limited period before the start.
Registration opens January 8, 2026. Entry fees vary by registration window: February 17–April 8: $35.00; April 9–June 8: $40.00; June 9–July 2: $45.00; July 3–July 4: $50.00. To receive a complimentary race shirt, registration must be completed by June 8; extra shirts will be available for purchase in limited supply. All fees are nonrefundable.
Awards include overall male and female 1st through 3rd, age-group awards for standard divisions (19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & over), and specialty prizes of $100 each for the best patriotic male and female outfits.
