Event overview
The Fallen Heroes 5 Miler takes place on July 4, 2026 in Fredericksburg, VA. The event includes the Fallen Heroes 5 Miler and Ainsley’s Angels 5 Miler. Entry, packet pickup and fees
Registration opens January 8, 2026. Entry fees vary by date: $35 (Feb 17 - Jun 7), $40 (Jun 8 - Jul 2), and $45 (Jul 3 - Jul 4). Ainsley’s Angels entry is listed as free with limited spots. To receive a free shirt, participants must register by June 7; extra shirts are available for purchase on race day for $20. Packet pickup is available on July 3 at Lucky Road Run Shop, 1865 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, and packets are also available on race day at the James Monroe High School parking lot.
Awards and series
This event is the sixth race in the 2026 Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Race Series managed by the Fredericksburg Area Running Club. Overall awards are presented to the top three men and women. Age group awards are offered in these categories: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. Additional prizes are planned for best patriotic outfit.
