The Fallen Comrades Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Daly Field, West Point, NY. Events include a half marathon with an optional ruck component and a kids 1-mile run for ages 12 and under. Distances offered:
- 13.1 miles (half marathon; run or ruck option)
- 1 mile (kids run)
Entry fees are listed as Cadets $25, General Entry $85, and Kids $15. Cadets must register with westpoint.edu accounts; ROTC cadets must register with .mil accounts. The half marathon offers a short sleeve technical race shirt, a race medal, and cadet and age-category prizes. The kids run awards a race medal and top-three finisher prizes. Ruck awards require carrying at least 35 lbs to qualify.
Course, logistics and rules
The half marathon uses a two-loop course beginning at the Plain near Daly Field and passes landmarks and roads including Thayer Road, Buffalo Soldier Field, Michie Stadium, Stony Lonesome Road, Lusk Reservoir, Merritt Road, Keller Army Community Hospital, Washington Road, Ruger Road, Anderson Rugby Complex, Trophy Point, and Howard Road, finishing alongside Daly Field. Packet pickup is available the day before adjacent to the West Point Visitor Center and there is limited early pickup for cadets; race-day pickup is also provided. Non-DOD ID participants and spectators must obtain a visitor pass from the West Point Visitor Control Center at 2107 New South Post Road, West Point, NY 10996. Baggage drop requires a clear, bib-labeled bag and bags may be searched. Roads remain open to traffic; headphones or earbuds are not permitted on the installation. Official timing is provided by Second Wind Race Timing with the timing device attached to the back of the race bib.
