Event details

Project 13.1 is a half marathon scheduled for March 21, 2026 at Rockland Lake State Park in Congers, NY. Registration opens October 1, 2025 and is limited to the first 500 registrants. The start and finish are located near Parking Lot #5. The race partner hotel is the Hampton Inn Nanuet, which is offering a discounted rate of $145 + tax for the night before the event; participants remain responsible for their own transportation to and from the park.

Course and race format

The course is USATF/IAAF-certified and follows a multi-loop layout: roughly 3/4 mile out, a 180-degree turn, a pass of the start line, then four clockwise loops around the lake. Tangents will be marked to indicate the shortest line on each loop. The event will be run in two waves of about 250 runners each. Each wave will include 5–10 pacers and bike escorts. The race will offer individualized bottle service on course. All registered participants will receive a 2026 Project 13.1 hat from Fractel and a full catered breakfast with muffins, fruit, eggs, waffles, and other items.
