Fall Colours Run - Somersault Events
The event takes place over two days around the Cumberland Heritage Museum and through the historic Cumberland community. The course passes through areas noted for fall colours and the final kilometre of each race finishes at the museum.
Races are on certified road courses and the marathon course is a Boston qualifier. Available race distances include:
- 1K Turkey Trot for ages 12 and under with finisher medal
- 1K Wedding Dress Dash
- 3K
- 5K
- 10K
- 21.1K half marathon
- 42.2K marathon
Two challenge options are offered: a 5K plus 10K challenge and a 10K plus 21.1K challenge. The Turkey Trot runs on the museum grounds; parents may accompany children, strollers are permitted, and every participant in that event receives a medal.
Registration includes a personalized race bib, closed course with local traffic only, professional timing, on-course nutrition from XACT, event photography, podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers, and post-race snacks including hot chocolate. Shuttle buses will operate between the museum and the OC Transpo Park N Ride at Trim Road.
