Fairhill Five Mile Road Race
The Fairhill Five Mile Road Race takes place in Ballymena on 4 June 2026 and is organised by Ballymena Runners with sponsorship from Fairhill Shopping Centre. The event is a road race over a 5-mile course that passes through the Fairhill Centre area, the Ballymena FC Showgrounds and Ecos Park, finishing outside the new Northern Regional College on Suffolk Street.
Entries open on 22 March 2026 and close on 25 May 2026. The minimum age is 16 on the event date. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £23.00 and Non-Affiliated £25.00. The organiser reports entries received so far and notes there will be no entries on the night.
Race packs will be available for collection at the Fairhill Centre on 31 May 2026 and pack collection will also be available on race night in the Fairhill Centre. Free carparking is available beside the after-race event in the Ballymena Showgrounds Des Allen Suite; additional parking is available in the Fairhill Centre and in the Ballymena Showgrounds car park.
All finishers receive a bespoke commemorative medal. Prizes are offered for Open categories (men and women) with 1st £100, 2nd £75 and 3rd £50, and category prizes of £30 for age groups and juniors. Prizes and results are distributed or published after the event. Transfers and name changes can be made online until 25 May 2026; there are strictly no refunds or deferrals.
