Fairhill Five Mile Road Race
The Fairhill Five Mile Road Race is organised by Ballymena Runners and takes place on Thursday 4 June 2026 with the Fairhill Shopping Centre named as sponsor. The course begins at the Broughshane Road entrance to the Fairhill Centre and passes through Suffolk Street and Summerfield Street into the Ballymena FC Showgrounds. Runners exit onto St Patricks Way, turn into Ecos Park, follow the park route to just past the four mile mark and return to St Patricks Way for a finish outside the Northern Regional College on Suffolk Street.
Race packs are available for collection in the Fairhill Centre on Sunday 31 May 2026 between 13:00 and 17:00, and on the evening of the event from 16:30 to 18:30 at the Fairhill Centre. All finishers receive a bespoke commemorative medal. Prize categories include open prizes for men and women with amounts of £100, £75 and £50 for first to third, age category prizes of £30, and junior prizes of £30. Prizes and the post-race meal are held in the Des Allen Suite on the top floor of the main stand in the Showgrounds, with prizes distributed immediately after the event.
Parking is available at the Fairhill Centre and in the Ballymena Showgrounds car park. Transfers or name changes are allowed online only until 25 May 2026. There are no refunds or deferrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
