EvenSplits York 5K
The EvenSplits York 5K is a monthly 5 kilometre road race held from February to November at the University of York Sport Village cycle circuit. The course is flat and run over five laps, with an entry limit of 200 runners and 161 places currently available. The event is EA licensed and chip timed, with results appearing on Power of 10.
Races provide live finish line text results and kilometre splits published the next day. Entrants receive a race number with an embedded timing chip on first entry; the same timing chip number can be used at both York and Leeds 5K events. Previously issued red 5K race numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused in 2026 if the number is recorded on the entry form. Each entrant is entitled to one free number replacement within a 12 month period; subsequent replacements incur a £4 charge.
Facilities at the Race HQ, University of York Sport Village, Cycle Circuit, Heslington East, Lakeside Way, YORK YO10 5FG, include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Entry on the day is not available. Entrants may defer their place once to the next race they can attend in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day.
