EvenSplits York 5k
The York 5K is a road race held at the University of York Sport Village. The event takes place on a dedicated cycle circuit in Heslington East. The course consists of five laps on a flat surface, which is designed to assist participants in achieving fast times. The event is EA licensed, meaning results are official and appear on Power of 10.
Participants receive chip timing for the race. A timing chip is embedded in the race number, which is collected from the registration area during the first time a runner participates. These race numbers are reusable for subsequent events in the series. Results are delivered via text message immediately after crossing the finish line, and detailed kilometre splits are provided the following day.

The venue is equipped with water stations, distance markers, and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers, or baggage storage available on-site. The race is suitable for wheelchairs. Registration is open to both affiliated and unaffiliated runners, with an entry limit of 200 participants. All finishers receive a chocolate bar upon completion of the course.
