Event Details
The Even Splits York 5k is a monthly race series held from February to November at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit. The course covers 5 km and consists of 5 laps on a flat, road circuit suitable for wheelchairs. The event is chip-timed and EA licensed.
Registration and Entry
Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day; entry on the day is not available. Entry fees for a single race are £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated runners. Multi-race passes for the September to November period are available for £26 (affiliated) and £31 (unaffiliated). Upon first entry, runners receive a reusable race number with an embedded timing chip, valid for both York and Leeds 5k events. One free number replacement is allowed per 12-month period.
On-Site Facilities
Available facilities include water stations, distance markers, and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store. The race headquarters is at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit.
Participant Information
Results are sent via text message immediately after finishing, and kilometre splits are published the following day. A chocolate bar is given to participants at the finish line. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another runner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
