The event takes place at Elvington Airfield, Halifax Way, Elvington, York YO41 4AU. It is a non-timed inflatable obstacle run held over a course that repeats a 2.5k lap. The day includes giant inflatable obstacles, five music zones, a finisher's medal, a goodie bag and a refreshment at the finish. Distances offered are listed below.
- 2.5k - 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k - 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k - 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k - 6 laps, 90 obstacles
Practical information provided for participants includes an arrival recommendation of 30 to 45 minutes before the start time, printed or screenshot E-Ticket presentation, and a kit list suggesting sensible running shoes, a long sleeve top and a rain jacket if needed. Parking is charged at £5 per car and bag drop is £3 per bag with size limits; bags will be searched. Toilets and food and drink vendors are available on site. Water is stationed midway along the route. Dogs are not allowed. Children aged 5 to 15 must participate with a paying adult at a maximum ratio of three children per adult. Spectators may watch from designated areas at no extra charge. Volunteers receive a free run entry, a T-shirt and a tote bag. Blue Light Card and NHS discounts are available.
