Even Splits York 5K (July 2026)
The Even Splits York 5K is a monthly, chip-timed road race held at the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit. The circuit is flat and run over 5 kilometres using five laps. Races run from February to November; this listing is for the event on 10 July 2026.
The event is EA licensed and results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line texts are sent as runners cross the line and kilometre splits are published the next day. A chocolate bar is handed out at the finish. Race numbers contain an embedded timing chip issued on first entry and may be used at both York and Leeds 5K events; previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020–25 are accepted in 2026 if recorded on entry. Entrants are entitled to one free number replacement within a 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Entry is limited to 200 places with 141 places remaining at the time of this listing. Entry options and prices are published for both affiliated and unaffiliated runners: single race entry and multi-race race passes covering July to November. Entry on the day is not available. The organiser permits a single deferral to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. No refunds are available and places are not transferable.
