Course and Categories

The 8 km lap consists of wide, runnable trails that wind through a mix of forest and open heathland within the historic estate. Notable landmarks along the route include the 18th-century Temple of the Lead Lads and the Roundhouse. Runners can enter in several categories:

  • Solo
  • Pairs
  • Small Teams (3-5 runners)
  • Large Teams (6-8 runners)
  • XL Teams (9-12 runners)

The event features a central Event Village that includes food vendors, kit and merchandise retailers, a dedicated kid’s zone, and a bar. Participants can stay on-site at the event camp, which welcomes runners, their families, and dogs. For those competing in the Solo and Pairs categories, there is a dedicated camping area and a trail-side bag drop to assist with efficiency during the race. Runners who reach a total distance of 100 miles are eligible to join the 100 Mile Club and receive a commemorative t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
