St Aidan's 10K 2026

St Aidan's 10K takes place on Friday 24 July 2026 at RSPB St Aidan's Country Park near Swillington, Leeds. The event is a single-lap trail race covering 10 kilometres along public footpaths and bridleways. The course is described as mostly flat with an undulating profile and is not suitable for wheelchairs.

The route starts by the RSPB St Aidan's Little Owl Cafe, alongside a preserved walking dragline excavator known as "Oddball", and finishes at the Visitor Centre. Entry is limited to 300 runners because of limited on-site parking and environmental considerations; 48 places remained available at the time of publication. A TRA permit has been applied for.

Race headquarters are at St Aidan's RSPB Visitor Centre, LS26 8AL. On course and event facilities include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage on site.

Entry fees are listed as £21 for affiliated runners and £23 for unaffiliated runners; entry on the day may be available for an additional £3 if the event has not sold out. When places are sold or if it is less than four weeks to race day, entry fees are non refundable. No race place transfers are permitted after Wednesday 15 July 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
