Goole Riverbank Challenge 2026

The Goole Riverbank Challenge takes place on 19 July 2026 in Goole, East Riding. The event is organised by Goole Viking Striders and is listed as a single-lap 10 km race.

The course is described as predominantly flat and multi terrain. The route starts on the riverbank of the Ouse, passes through the village of Hook, goes around the Riverside Gardens bandstand and returns along the riverbank to the start area.

The event uses chip timing and provides a specialist event medical team and on-course marshals. Facilities at the Race HQ include toilets, changing, showers and baggage storage. Water and distance markers are provided on course, and food and drink are available on the day. There is free car parking close to the start and finish at Westfield Banks Sports Complex, Westfield Lane, Hook, Goole, DN14 5PW.

Entrants were offered an optional bicentennial technical T-shirt featuring local water tower landmarks. Finishers receive a bespoke medal; prizes are awarded for first, second and third places and there is a special prize for the 200th finisher.
