Goole Riverbank Challenge 2026

The Goole Riverbank Challenge takes place on Sunday 19 July 2026 in Goole, East Riding. The race is organised by Goole Viking Striders. Race headquarters are at Westfield Banks Sports Complex, Westfield Lane, Hook, Goole, DN14 5PW.

The course is a single lap of 10 km on multi terrain with a flat profile. The route runs from the riverbank of the Ouse, through the village of Hook, around the Riverside Gardens bandstand and returns along the riverbank. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. The entry limit is 350 places.

Event services include chip timing, a specialist event medical team and on course marshals. Facilities listed for the day are water, distance markers, toilets, changing rooms, showers and baggage storage. Additional provisions include free car parking close to the start and finish, food and drink available on the day, post race massage, a bespoke finisher's medal and prizes for first, second and third. There is a special prize for the 200th finisher. Entrants may choose a bicentennial technical T shirt featuring the local water tower landmarks.
