Goole Riverbank Challenge 10 km, Goole
The Goole Riverbank Challenge is a chip timed 10 km multi terrain race held on 19 July 2026 in Goole, East Riding. The event is organised by Goole Viking Striders and carries race licence 30747. The entry limit is 350 and the race is not suitable for wheelchairs.
The course is predominantly flat and covers one lap. It starts on the riverbank of the Ouse, passes through the village of Hook, goes around the Riverside Gardens bandstand and returns along the riverbank to the start area.
Race facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing rooms, showers and baggage storage. Race HQ is at Westfield Banks Sports Complex, Westfield Lane, Hook, Goole, DN14 5PW. The event provides a specialist event medical team, on course marshalls, free car parking close to the start and a bespoke finisher's medal. Additional services listed for the day include post race massage and food and drink availability.
Entry fees vary by affiliation and T shirt option, with published prices ranging from £18.00 to £25.00. Prize awards are offered for first, second and third places, and there is a special prize for the 200th finisher. A one off bicentennial technical T shirt option features local water tower landmarks.
