EvenSplits Leeds 5K
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly, chip timed road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre from February to November. The course is 5 kilometres, flat and run over three laps. The event operates under an applied for race licence and is recorded as EA licensed for results listing on Power of 10.
Results are sent by text at the finish line and mile splits are published the next day. First time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip to use at both Leeds and York 5K events; that number is collected from Registration. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free race number replacement in a 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Entry is limited to 200 places with 150 remaining for this race. Entry on the day is not available. Pricing options include single race entries and a race pass covering multiple dates in July to November, with separate fees for affiliated and unaffiliated entrants. Bulk purchasing of multiple entries is offered as a lower cost option.
Facilities at Race HQ, Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Leeds LS16 8NA, include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Deferral of a place is allowed once to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day.
