The Leeds 5K takes place at the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA. The course is a road loop of three laps with a flat profile. The event is chip-timed and EA licensed, with results appearing on Power of 10. Finish-line texts are sent as runners cross the line and mile splits are published the next day. Entry, fees and facilities
The listed distance is 5 kilometres. Single-race entry fees are £10 for affiliated runners and £12 for unaffiliated runners. A Leeds Race Pass covering July to November is priced at £40 affiliated and £48 unaffiliated. Online entry closes at 10:00 on race day and entry on the day is not available. First-time entrants are assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip to be collected at registration; previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020–25 may be reused if recorded on the entry form. One free number replacement is allowed in a 12-month period; subsequent replacements cost £4. There are water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage store. Deferral of a place is allowed once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day.
