Event overview
The EvenSplits Leeds 5K is a monthly road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Leeds LS16 8NA. The race distance is 5 kilometres, run as three laps on a flat, road course. The event is chip-timed and EA licensed; results are published on Power of 10. Finish-line texts are sent to runners as they cross, and mile splits are published the next day. A small refreshment is provided at the finish.
Entry, limits and facilities
Entry fees are listed at £10.00 (affiliated) and £12.00 (unaffiliated). Entry on the day is not available. Each entrant is assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip on first entry; previously issued RED 5K numbers from 2020-24 may be reused if recorded on the entry form. One free number replacement is permitted in a 12 month period; further replacements cost £4. Places are limited to 200 entrants. The race is suitable for wheelchairs and has water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers or baggage storage. Deferral of a place is allowed once to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day. Entries are non-refundable and race places cannot be transferred.
