Euchre Bar Massacre
Euchre Bar Massacre is a fatass style trail run held October 10, 2026, near Foresthill, CA with start and finish at Shirttail Creek Campground. The event offers two approximate distances:
- 50 miles, about 20,000 feet of climbing
- 25 miles, about 10,000 feet of climbing
The courses follow and leave marked trails along the wild and scenic North Fork of the American River, and include significant bushwhacking and route finding. Portions of the route are off trail and the organizer will post the map in the week before the event. The course uses sections such as Euchre Bar, Pioneer Mine, Ebeneezer's highway, Green Valley, Mumford Bar, and Italian Bar.
Entry is free and combined registration for both distances is limited to 50 people. The event has a rule that finishers must wait at the finish until at least one other runner arrives. There is one designated location for drop bags and crew that runners pass twice. A group campsite is available for Friday and Saturday nights.
