Escape From Fort Desoto Triathlon/Duathlon
The event takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Fort De Soto Park, 3500 Pinellas Bayway S., St Petersburg, FL 33715. The race is USAT-sanctioned, will be held on a closed course, and is chip-timed with splits for each race segment. The field will close at 500 entries. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal. The organizer notes the 2026 edition is the 40th anniversary of the event.

Logistics and awards
Packet pick-up is scheduled in the days before the race at PLAYTRI St. Petersburg (2132 Central Ave) and on race morning at Shelter 11 (The Fort). Athletes must show photo ID and proof of current USAT membership or purchase a one-day license. One relay team member may pick up all relay packets. The event includes overall, masters, grand masters, senior masters, senior grand masters, and age-group awards; aqua bike has separate age-group categories. The first 275 registered athletes will receive a new giveaway item; T-shirts are available for purchase. Results and finish line operations are managed by Florida Road Race Management.
