ERC Centenary Duathlon
The ERC Centenary Duathlon takes place on 03 May 2026 at Meadowmill Sports Centre in East Lothian. The event is held entirely off road within a fully enclosed area and includes races for adults, younger athletes and relay teams.
The main Centenary Duathlon for ages 16 and over is a three-stage event: a 5 km run, a 10 km cyclocross style bike and a final 2.5 km run. The bike course is described as non-technical and suitable for athletes not familiar with cyclocross riding; there are no hurdles or hills that require competitors to dismount. Starter waves will be organised with separate Female and Open categories in line with British Triathlon policy.
Younger athletes can enter Tristar and Youth super sprint duathlons with distance variations by age group. Relay teams of two are allowed: one competitor completes both run legs and the other completes the bike leg; teams may be Female, Mixed or Open.
Key entry and race requirements are specified by the organiser. Age group is determined by age on 31 December 2026. Junior entries require a parent or guardian account to add a child. Participants must have a valid home nation race licence or purchase a British Triathlon race pass. Entry closes 26 April 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
