EpicTrails 10 km exploring trails by head torch
This is a guided trail run of 10 km starting from Milngavie Train Station (G62 8PG) that follows local routes including sections of the Clyde Coastal Path and the West Highland Way as well as other nearby trails. The run will begin in daylight and it is anticipated to be dark or getting dark by the finish.
A qualified guide who is experienced, insured and first aid trained will lead the group. These are social runs rather than races: no one is left behind, the group will regroup at points along the route, and pace will vary by distance and terrain. Group sizes are kept manageable to support participant safety.
Mandatory kit varies with route and season but always includes trail shoes and a head torch; participants without required kit will not be allowed to run. Dogs and under 18s are not permitted due to insurance restrictions.
The activity is run not for profit; funds first cover costs and any remainder is donated periodically to a local charity. The listed entry fee is £3.00. Refunds are given only if requested and no refunds are issued for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Total places are limited to 14.
