Great Scottish Run

AJ Bell Great Scottish Run is Glasgow’s signature running event, offering a half marathon and a 10k through Scotland’s largest city. The race begins on a city-centre street (St Vincent Street) and finishes on Glasgow Green, winding past iconic architecture and green spaces as enthusiastic crowds line the route. The event is famed for a festive atmosphere, with music and entertainment along the way.

Runners receive a medal, a finishers’ T‑shirt and a finishers bag; official event day photos and a tracking app are available. There are charity entries and Junior & Mini events on Super Saturday, plus optional finishers’ tees supporting the National Trust Woodlands Appeal.
