EpicTrails 10 km trail run in Milngavie
EpicTrails organises a social trail run on 16 July 2026 that starts from Milngavie Train Station and follows local trails including sections of the Clyde Coastal path and the West Highland Way. The event is presented as a non-competitive group run rather than a race.
A qualified guide will lead the run; the guide is described as experienced, insured and first aid trained. Pace will vary with the route and regrouping points are planned so that participants are kept together. Group sizes will be limited to maintain safety.
Dogs and participants under 18 are not permitted due to insurance restrictions. Trail shoes are always mandatory; additional kit requirements depend on the route and time of year and will be listed in the run brief. Participants without the required kit will not be allowed to take part.
The runs operate not for profit. Income is used first to cover event costs and any surplus is donated periodically to a local charity. Refunds are available only if requested and none are issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event. The event listing shows an entry fee of £3.00 and a service fee of 4 percent with a minimum charge of 50 pence. Total places are listed as 14.
