We Run Oakland: For Our Children 2026
We Run Oakland: For Our Children 2026 is the ninth annual charity 5K organized by DO and A Sista's Touch on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The event aims to raise awareness about human trafficking, support local nonprofit services, and support AST programming. Planning notes state a goal to increase engagement by at least 10 percent and to exceed 275 registrations. The program includes in person age group 5K events, a virtual option called 5K Your Way, and free participation choices without event swag. The virtual option allows participants to complete the 5K or 3.25 mile distance at a location of their choice, indoors or outdoors, and submit results for the event results board by September 23rd.
