The Enjoy Your Life Happy Half Marathon & Friendly 5K takes place on May 9, 2026 in Amesbury, Massachusetts. The event includes the following distances:

The race venue is Heritage Park at 27 Water Street, Amesbury. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Riverside Yoga in Newburyport. Race day registration and pickup are available at the race site.
Course and on-course services
The half marathon is a loop that starts and finishes at Heritage Park and passes through Amesbury, Newton, and South Hampton, crossing into New Hampshire. Most of the course is on paved, tree-lined roads. The route has rolling hills and one steady incline in the first three miles. The half marathon has a 3.5 hour time cap. Three aid stations are provided at about miles 3.5, 8.5 and 10.5 with water and Gatorade. An on-course bathroom stop is available just before mile 4 at the South Hampton Fire Department parking lot. The 5K is an out-and-back with a turnaround in the Battis Farm parking lot.
Amenities, awards and logistics
Half marathon entrants receive a windbreaker jacket; 5K entrants receive a tech shirt. All finishers receive a medal and a complimentary beer for those 21 and older. Awards are given for top finishers overall, top age-group finishers, top non-binary, and top strollers. Limited parking is available on Water Street and nearby lots. Dogs and strollers are allowed but must line up at the back and dogs must be leashed. Beneficiaries for 2026 include the Amesbury High School Boosters.
