Engelheim Vineyards Wine Run 5k
The Engelheim Vineyards Wine Run 5k takes place on June 20, 2026 at Engelheim Vineyards, 120 Lakeview Road, Ellijay, Georgia 30540. The event includes a 5k and volunteer-and-run options, and a virtual participation option with packet pickup or shipping available.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip timed race bib, online results, and a pour of wine. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event.
The course is a two-lap route that tours the vineyard. It is a cross country style course with some uneven footing and inclines and is open to runners and walkers. Participants who prefer to stop after one lap may request to be moved to the 1.5 mile walk division by notifying the timer.
The race is professionally timed by J3 Timing and results are posted online. Free race photos are uploaded after the event for download. The event supports the charity Nik's Wish. Age group awards are offered in ten year categories from youth through 80 and over; awards are custom and must be picked up on race day.
